Gap Band singer Charlie Wilson has sued EMI and Heineken for a new series of advertisements featuring the song, "Beautiful," which was a collaboration between Wilson, Snoop Dogg and Pharrell Williams.
According to Reuters, Wilson filed the suit accusing EMI, the American division of Heineken, and Capitol Records for licensing the commercials without his permission in a federal court in Manhattan on Friday.
The singer also accuses EMI of owing him hundreds of thousands of dollars in unpaid royalties from "You've Got What I Want," another Snoop Dogg collaboration.
