Lucinda Williams will show a little respect to elder statesman of traditional country, Charlie Louvin, by taking him out on a 13-city tour set to launch on July 14 in Kansas City.
He'll do a CD signing at one of Nashville's best independent record stores, Grimey's Records, on July 6, the same day he performs at the Mercy Lounge.
Louvin is also celebrating his 80th birthday on July 7 with an appearance at the Grand Ole Opry.
He releases the five-track 80th Birthday EP today.
