Cassidy has a new freestyle over 50 Cent's "I Get Money" that had some Internet folks wondering if he was dissing the track's original author, T.I. and possibly Lil Wayne. He's now setting the record straight.
Cass gave a video interview to Real Talk NY this week and explained, well, kind of:
Every time I do an interview or talk to somebody, they always think that, but you know... The crazy part about it is that in the whole song I never mention anybody's name. For people to think that I'm specifically talking about certain people, then It's kind of crazy to me because it's like the streets are telling me that what I said is true. Like, "it gotta be true." And that person just automatically just jumps to conclusions...
Alright. So I'm assuming that he wasn't dissing anyone. I think.
