No. You can't. But you're still welcome to try. A7X is holding a guitar solo contest on its official website, as a lead-up to the band's self-titled album.
If you go to the website -- right here -- you can find a version of the new single "Almost Easy" that has had the guitar solo stripped out. Just record your own personalized solo over the track and send it back to the band. The best solo will win (or the least-bad solo, depending on the quality of the entrants).
Avenged Sevenfold comes out on October 30th. Some girl named Britney Spears also has a record that day, and apparently she's well-known, so A7X is pretty much out of the running for the #1 album. Oh well. Hopefully these guys do well. Their last album was a breakthrough and now's the time to keep the ball rolling.
