Busta Rhymes is off the hook for a couple more months as his trial, originally scheduled for today, September 5, has been pushed back to November 7.

Busta is charged with two counts of assault and two driving infractions but both the prosecutor and the defense attorney said they were not ready to proceed.

The two charges of assault came from separate incidents, one accusation from a fan and another from a former-employee. Busta turned down a plea deal earlier in the year that would've put him in jail for a year on all four charges.
