Brooks & Dunn will host a one-hour CMT special called "Dale Pre-Show: His Greatest Comeback," which focuses on Dale Earnhardt's final laps of the 2000 NASCAR Winston 500 at Talladega.
The show will air on September 4 at 7 p.m. ET, just before the television debut of Dale, an authorized documentary about the driver. Dale features narration by Paul Newman, archival footage and never-before-seen family home videos.
Dierks Bentley, Billy Ray Cyrus and John Rich all show up during "His Greatest Comeback" for interviews.
The special will air the following two nights and then will hit shelves in DVD form sometime next year.
