You've probably heard that Brooks & Dunn is about to hit the road with Alan Jackson, taking Jake Owen and Catherine Britt out as supporters. What you don't know is that Brooks, Dunn and Jackson can NOT decide how to finale this whole thing.
Apparently, Brooks & Dunn are way into confetti, while Jackson is more a roses kind of guy? Great American Country had the report, via Dial Global.
"We've been working on it for
eight years and talking about it forever. It always gets hung up when we ask about confetti. Alan goes, 'You're
not going to shoot confetti are you?' We've kind of conjured up all these images of maybe what he's
thinking. But that confetti thing — we need to tell him
he can't have rose petals all over the stage," Ronnie Dunn said.
Kix Brooks added, "Oh, yeah — we'll have confetti," says Kix. "And then it's, 'What color?' I think it's been the color thing more than just the confetti stuff."
Although I'm not sure what exactly is going on here, I'm pretty sure a couple of middle-aged men are more or less arguing over whether or not to end their concert with confetti or rose petals. Who's in the mood to listen to some Gram Parsons? Or at least some Dwight Yoakam? Jeeeeez.
Anyway, here's a little preview of what the shows might be like ... you know ... confetti and all.
