It was a boring week in the country section of Billboard's charts. Brad Paisley and Montgomery Gentry were able to hold on to their top spots for another week, as Brad stayed atop the album chart and MG the singles chart.
Paisley's 5th Gear sold enough copies to hold on to the No. 1 album spot, while it was followed closely by albums from a predictable cast including Toby Keith, Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood and Big & Rich, respectively.
As for unexpected jumps, Faith Hill's Fireflies made a random jump from No. 56 to No. 12, in its 100th week on the chart.
