The band was heading to the airport in Istanbul after playing a show in Turkey when their tour bus almost crashed as the result of a punctured tire. The ensuing delay almost kept the band from getting on their flight, but they made it on safely.
According to Contact Music, the band got to the gates after they were closed, but security relented and allowed them passage. Ah, the perks of fame. The rest of us, the common people, would have been sitting around the airport for hours, waiting for the next flight, making bad Istanbul/Constantinople jokes.
