Big & Rich's Big Kenny is real damn serious about the genocide situation in Darfur.

In fact, he's so serious that he's planning a trip to the region this fall. Dude gets a hit single and starts acting all Bono. Wonder if he'll wear his hat all the time the way Bono rocks the shades.

He plans to meet with officials in D.C. soon and along with his buddy John Rich, he's planning a rally in Nashville.

He also expressed his worry and his idea of a possible solution to the Tennessean, thanks to GAC for the relay game.

"This is the first time in history that a genocide has happened, been called a genocide and we know it's going on, and we're not stopping it. It's like we're watching this horrific happening on TV and the Web and we're not ending it. I think the thing that's going to ultimately end it is when just regular people just rise up and say, 'Enough is enough and you don't throw babies in fires,'" Kenny said.
