Those Malaysians are always c-blocking.
Beyonce has canceled a November 1st concert in Kuala Lumpur. There had been concerns that Beyonce's stage show would be too sexy for Kuala Lumpur's Muslim community, which makes up a majority of the country. The same thing happened to Gwen Stefani recently, but while Stefani offered to cover up for her Malaysian concert, Beyonce has decided to just cancel.
Beyonce's reps cited a "scheduling conflict" as the reason for cancellation, and now the singer will be playing a November 1st show in nearby Jakarta (Indonesia). While Jakarta is also Muslim, it does not have the same strict rules as Malaysia. This raises the question: Did Beyonce really have a scheduling conflict, or did she just refuse to put up with these rules?
Either way, it's official, Malaysia is the USA Network and the rest of the world is HBO (except for France, which is Cinemax at 3:00 AM).
