Dave Matthews Band has joined the list of artists including John Mayer and Nas to play a Virginia Tech benefit concert. The show will be September 6, 2007 at the Lane Stadium on the school’s campus and will be free for current students and faculty.

The concept of the tribute concert is to positively reinforce lifting the spirits of the Virginia Tech community after the tragedy that occurred in April. Tickets can also be purchased for $65.00 through the Warehouse. Other artists such as Rascal Flatts, U2 and Bon Jovi are rumored to show up as well, but haven’t been confirmed.
