With the rumor patrol blasting news that Beenie Man was recently dropped by Virgin Records, the dancehall star is attempting to clear the air.
"I left Virgin, they never dropped me," the MC told EURWeb's Kevin Jackson. "I have no contract with Virgin. Virgin has merged with Universal EMI so there is no more Virgin. I am going to release my album on MAFIA House Productions."
As previously reported, Beenie Man set up shop with his own label, MAFIA House Productions, in Jamaica earlier this year.
