Perhaps Avril Lavigne can work out a 2 for 1 deal with her lawyer as yet another artist has come forward claiming that Lavigne stole her idea. As Pixie reported a few days ago, Avril Lavigne is currently being sued over her alleged stolen hit, "Girlfriend."
From AOL Music:
This time, it's a song by fellow Canadian female artist Peaches -- "I'm the Kinda," which was released in 2003, which sounds very similar to Lavigne's new song "I Don't Have to Try." In both songs, a simple synthesized drum beat plays as the lyrics are delivered in a rap-like spoken word delivery.
Listen to them side by side and it's not a far stretch to see why Peaches would be upset.
Girl- you better start claiming amnesia over any music ever produced. Two alleged plagiarisms on the same album can not be wiped away by giving the finger.
