Alice in Chains recently played an acoustic set in Milwaukee, WI, while the band had an off-date from its current tour with Velvet Revolver. According to Tunelab, the Milwaukee show was recorded and will be released as a live album at some point in the future.

AIC has two more of these acoustic shows coming up. Click here for details.

Here are some videos of AIC with new singer William DuVall. If you're willing to accept the fact that Layne Staley is gone, this guy is pretty good.

As previously mentioned, Alice in Chains is currently on tour with Velvet Revolver. The band is getting rave reviews as the opening act, even outshining VR at many shows. My friend Krissy went to see this tour at Atlantic City. Here is her report:

The concert was great. Alice in Chains was honestly better than VR, but I think it's cause everyone around us hyped them up and they were just so-so.
