When Alice in Chains announced plans to reunite and tour with Velvet Revolver, fans had every right to be skeptical (and they were). But with the tour going extremely well for AIC, the band has decided to add a bunch of acoustic shows to its schedule.
AIC's run with Velvet Revolver goes until early October, and then it's all-acoustic for the rest of the month. Going into this tour, I was as skeptical as anyone, but I've heard nothing but positive about the band. They've even stolen the show from Velvet Revolver quite a few times. If you're a grunge fan, it might be worth checking out.
