As we've discussed at length here at Shoutmouth, Akon has had a bit of an off year with stage performances. In April he simulated sex onstage at a club in Trinidad with a girl who turned out to be a minor. A month later he invited a teenage boy onstage at a show in New York, only to lift him above his head and toss him into the crowd. Though it was kind of an impressive feat of strength, it was also not really necessary.
The singer followed up the incidents by leaking the track "Sorry, Blame it on Me" a few weeks ago. Everything was made better and he went back to trying to buy diamond mines and remixing Fallout Boy. All was well in the world.
Things look to be a bit more well in the world today with word that Akon will put the track on the upcoming re-release of his latest album Konvicted and that he's shooting a video for it.
Sal Masakela can tell you much better than I can...
Shoutmouth: cool with watching the E! Network since early 2007.
