Guitar legend Brian May has finally completed his doctorate in astrophysics, 30 years after Queen's success forced him to quit school.
May will be handing over his thesis in the coming weeks to the Imperial College London. It's called "Radial Velocities in the Zodiacal Dust Cloud." Okay, so the dude's smart. I tentatively refrain from making an "Another One Bites the Dust Cloud" joke, or any such nonsense involving the word "mercury."
The guitarist, beloved for his smart riffs and signature multi-tonal solos, has previously co-authored an astronomy book called Bang! The Complete History of the Universe.
No word yet on whether Stephen Hawking will be joining Queen on tour.
