In September of 2006, pop star Aaron Carter broke off an engagement to a former Playboy Playmate, Kari Ann Peniche, after just one week. But now he’s back on the wagon, proclaiming his love for his current girlfriend, singer Kaci Brown. Despite the couple’s age (Carter is 19, Brown is 18) and the fact that they’ve only been dating for a week, Carter says that this love is for real.
"Now I'm in a great relationship. I've only known her for, like, seven days, but I have a connection with her that's like nothing else I've ever experienced," Carter told People magazine.
When asked what he was given by his new girlfriend for his recent birthday, Carter responded, “she got me love.”
This is where I would normally make a joke, but that would be completely unnecessary, since this entire story is a joke. I, for one, am happy for Carter, as love is a difficult thing to obtain. My advice for Carter would be this: Focus all of your energy into this relationship, so as to make sure you don’t lose this girl. Don’t let anything get in your way. And I mean anything; music, television shows, movies, etc. If you have to take a 5-year hiatus on your career, you do it. Hell, if you have to quit the music industry completely, well then you do that too. Whatever it takes. Because nothing is too steep a price to pay for the love of your life.
