The Alaskan punk band has found a new home -- and I think it suits them just perfectly. The label announced the signing on their site today, along with news that there will be a new album from the band in 2008.

Ferret Music's statement reads:

We are proud to welcome 36 CrazyFists to the family! Some of us have worked with 36 before when we worked at other labels so we are definitely excited to start that partnership up again. Strongly dedicated and self-sacrificing for their music, the band who hails from Alaska moved to Portland, OR to bring their music to the mainland.
The band have also just returned from a year and a half of straight touring and are working on new material. The bands singer, Brock Lindow says “We will head to the studio this fall and the new material so far is still in it’s infancy but our fans will be very pleased with the development.” The band will unveil a new album in 2008.
Good stuff... definitely a band to watch next year when they have a label like this behind them.
