10 Years plans to start pre-production on their next full-length with Rick Parasher at some point in the next few weeks. 10 Years selected Parasher because of his reputation from work with Soundgarden, Alice in Chains and Pearl Jam.
Brian Vodinh, who sent the update via the band's MySpace blog, also says that he and lead singer Jesse Hasek recently received a phone call from Dean DeLeo (Stone Temple Pilots, Army of Anyone) asking them to come to Malibu, California for a "creative session." Vondinh doesn't elaborate other than to say that they will "Toss ideas back and forth, jam, whatever ... a song might end up on our new album."
Anyway, there is no timetable for when the album will be out but the band has generously posted one of their new demos on their MySpace page, "All Your Lies." Look for more new songs to be posted there soon.
