Her identity remains a secret until May 30th, when the band releases "Eva", their first single featuring her vocals. She was, however, allowed to write a blog. No word if they keep her in a cage when she's not singing. Just in case someone saw her.
One thing I can tell you for certain: this chick is detail-oriented.
Choice excerpts:
"The actual first recording day started with a very nice and steady breakfast at 09.30";
"It worked out very well and we felt that the day had been very fulfilling so we called it a day. Again I slept with the lights on, because of the horror movies...";
"I woke up with the biggest headache and really not felt good at all. My body was aching and I immediately took some painkillers for the head and got back to the bed for some hour."
Wait -- I know who the new singer of Nightwish is! They must have found her on MySpace, using the name XXhvvyXmtlXsngrX4lifeXX!
You can read the whole blog here, where she does actually write about the recording process in some detail.
"Eva" will be available as a download on May 30th and the mystery woman's identity will be revealed as well.
