Get Life Advice From Andrew W.K. on Shoutmouth!

Andrew W.K.

Andrew W.K. –the rock musician best known for his bloody face, dirty white outfits, and hard-partying anthems– has recast himself as a powerful motivational speaker. Andrew has recently given lectures at New York University, Carnegie Mellon University, The University of Wisconsin, and other locations across the U.S.A., helping people confront their problems head-on with his unique energy and insight.

Many lucky people will have the opportunity to meet him in person and ask him their questions. For all of those who cannot make it to those lectures, Shoutmouth is hosting online Q&A sessions. In other words, you have the opportunity to have Andrew answer your questions via video. We'll broadcast select videos, Andrew’s personalized video responses, exclusively on Shoutmouth.

  • What type of question should I ask?

The general purpose of these videos is advice from Andrew W.K. With that in mind, Andrew prefers questions about you and your life, rather than about his life or his music. So feel free to get creative and ask anything you'd like, but we're most likely to select interesting, sincere questions.

  • Will my video be viewed by the public?

Videos will NOT be automatically viewable by the public. We will pick and choose certain videos to be featured in the video Q&A series on Shoutmouth.com. If we do select your video question, then it will be viewable by the public. All unselected videos will remain private, but it’s important to realize that your submission may be selected and may therefore be viewable to the public. If you do not want the public to view your video, we recommend that you do not submit a video question. But if you’re intent on submitting one anyways, please state your desire for privacy clearly.

  • How long/short should my video be?

Your video can be long or short – it's up to you. But, generally speaking, the best videos are concise. They should be just long enough to give background on your question. Somewhere between 30 seconds and 2 minutes should be good in most cases.
