Real Music Ringtones

It's no secret that I'm big into the hard-rock and metal genres. Something about the gain, harsh vocals, and dark themes really speaks to me. Of all the bands out there, I think Korn has one of the most original sounds in the space. They have a funky style that they can get a little overboard with, but their big hit songs are never a disappointment. Everything from ADIDAS to Got the life to Twisted Transistor hits me hard and something I really want to rock out to.

I had the pleasure of seeing the current version of Skynyrd (I'm a bit too young to have seen the real deal) when I was in college. They played all the biggest hits, but there was one that really stood out in the end as the greatest.

To say that I’m immensely familiar with either of these artists would be a bald-faced lie. To say that I was well aware of why the term “boo” is used to describe a loved one would be about the same in terms of total, complete and utter fabrications.

Have you ever been sitting around, waiting for a phone call, and when it finally came you didn’t get put ‘in the mood’? Have you ever wished you could change that? No? Really? Me neither…

One of the most popular bands in the past decade or so is Disturbed. Not just a name but a target audience too! Well, their target audience isn’t actually those who are disturbed--but rather the young kids who really, really wish they were so their LJ posts about living in hell would be autobiographical and not fantastic.

Honestly, I don’t even know if I consider southern rock to be a genre in-and-of-itself; but there is one song that throws significant weight behind approving its application for validation: Sweet Home Alabama.

I’m not sure how Pink fits into the whole pop singer scene since she doesn’t really produce anything huge anymore, but that doesn’t stop people from downloading the So What ringtone.

While I’m not a particularly big fan of Coldplay I feel as though they represent a significant population of people that want to listen to good music that doesn’t make have whiney lyrics or screaming lead singers. Some people want to enjoy their music and feel good at the same time. I think Coldplay actually achieves that for their fans.

The James Bond theme song is one of the most popular ringtones out there; it’s also one of the most recognizable songs around. It’s weird, though, because there isn’t really a single James Bond Theme Song.

Many people know the NYSE bell quite well. It is the signal for the start and the end of every day on the stock market here in New York. I guess a lot of people love to hear the bell, even when they aren’t working, because the NYSE Bell ringtone is one of the most popular in the country.
